    Cleanup and improvement of AlwaysAssert and DebugAssert (#1467)
    * improved Assert macros by allowing other types than Int and pointer, reduced code duplication

    * replaced templated class by templated function, documentation cleanup

    * removed unused helper method, changed casacore::Int to int
